Eko The Musical
Eko the Musical is a
stage production based on the city of Lagos through the ages, featuring
Nigeria’s best musical artistes and arrangements, powerful dance pieces and a
cast of stellar acting repute.
Synopsis
It is a tale of eras connected by the pursuit of love and significance in ‘Eko Akete; Ilu Ogbon’; It chronicles the resilient spirit of ambition, love, perseverance and the bewildering superfluity that Lagos has to offer.It is about how the world around (Lagos) may change but how Lagos was, is and will always be the same.
The contrast across centuries; the passage of time and stillness of change; the clash of modernity and tradition; the highs of optimism and the lows of despondency; the credence of hard-work and the redemption of souls; the pitfalls of corruption and the grace of salvation; the upward mobility of her youths, their resonance and sound will be fully engaged.
Art Exhibition
Eko Masterpiece Exhibition: Avant-garde Art Show themed EKO L’ANO L’ONI L’OLA. We explore the transitions that have shaped the city in a collection of 500 masterpieces, which capture the vibrancy of Lagos. We juxtapose art forms across various mediums to celebrate this gifted city.

Where else would you find juxtaposed art forms across various mediums which birth the names; "Eko 4 show", "Eko Akete, Ilu Ogbon", to mention but a few. Lagos, the only city powered by noise, where suffering and smiling is the religion of the people.
